Food doesn't need to be plain bland and boring. There are many low-calorie flavours out there.

Marion's Kitchen has a heap of Thai-inspired marinades, salad dressings and sauces - I love the Japanese teriyaki.

AJVAR - you can find in fruit shops and is a capsicum relish. Works amazing on omelettes or as a dip or with chicken.

Salsa is not just for nachos if great with mince with omelettes, and actually with anything.

Soy sauce and stir fry chicken and veggies are so simple and yet so delicious.

If you like stir fry but want to keep calories down, you can also find a light sweet chilli sauce.

Stir Fry is one of my favourite high protein and high fibre meals- it’s so easy and versatile with the protein, veggies and flavour you can use.

A one-pan dish that even the laziest of cooks can do.
