How changing your narrative will help focus on positives to cultivate a happier mindset.

We have an internal dialogue we use for ourselves and these are stories created over so many years. The narrative we have is a key reason why we aren’t successful, it’s those stories that are holding us back.

Positive words like “peace,” “love” and “compassion” strengthen areas of the brain’s frontal lobes and promote cognitive function.

Words don’t just create short-term thoughts and emotions: they literally shape your brain. Changing your thoughts and words literally changes the actual architecture of your brain to promote growth where it’s needed most, hacking the negative thought patterns to lay down new pathways and build new connections so that eventually they overpower the old ones, making it easier every day to think more positively and feel better about yourself. And actually achieving what you want in life becomes so much easier when you start to see all of it as possible.

Simply put, the more positive language you use the better you will feel. Switching the narrative also allows you to switch your focus away from the negatives and more on the positives cultivating a happier mindset.

With that happier mindset comes the ability to see that anything is possible and you can and deserve to achieve everything you want.

What I teach inside the Academy is how powerful our words are. If you want to achieve a fat loss goal you need to be able to see it, feel it and catch yourself when negative thoughts creep in.
