Lasting habits are ones that you can see yourself doing for life.
If you are willing to put in the effort, it's not difficult to change your habits. The problem is that people do not want to work at it. If you want to stick with it, you need to make it part of your routine.
Some people don't like to be told what to do, but I think that most of us would be willing to follow a rule of thumb if we knew that following it will help us achieve a goal that is important to us. If you are willing to put in the effort, it's not difficult to change your habits. The problem is that people do not want to work at it. If you want to stick with it, you need to make it part of your routine.
The habits you need to achieve your fat loss goals are going to be the same habits you need to sustain them.
When you change your diet and exercise habits, your body will change, too. The more you make healthy changes, the easier it will become to maintain them. Your body will get used to those changes, and your habits will start to feel natural.
So don’t think sunrise walks are the answer if you struggle to get out of bed in the morning.
Or if training 6x a week is what you need if you also run a busy household with 3 kids a husband and a business.
Or blindly following a meal plan for 12 weeks and not learning how to create your own.
Realistically what do you think is possible for you?
Can you see yourself exercising 3x a week?
What about planning some meals for the week ahead on a Sunday
Or getting outside more and walking over driving.
Think about how you want to live, how do you see your future self, what habits does she have? Start there and build upon that.
