So what happens when you eat 1200 calories or less for an extended period of time.... you eventually give in to your hunger (hunger hormones ghrelin) and BINGE on highly processed foods. But more than that your body adapts to the low calories and we see metabolic adaptation, lower metabolic rate and things like menstrual cycles stop!

This is what I teach my clients! Smaller increments to calories each week, eating more whole foods and protein means they are satiated, they don't snack on calorie-dense foods. They have more energy, happier and getting awesome results as well as a regular menstrual cycle.
